Things To Do
Charlton Kings, often cited as Britain's largest village, lies within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and
is located to the South East of Cheltenham. The Cotswolds are known the world over
as an area which is typically “English” with their drystone walls and charming building,
open skies, rolling grasslands, beech woods and captivating villages. These are
villages that seem unchanged since medieval times with narrow winding lanes, and
thriving markets. There are welcoming pubs with log fires burning in the winter
months, specialist shops selling local products, tea rooms, restaurants and antique
shops to die for.
